Applications Open: Myllertämö Collaboration Grant and Cultural Event Partnerships
The application period for the Cultural Event Partnership and Myllertämö Collaboration Grant for member organisations of The Citizens’ Forum Study Centre is open from 15 September to 31 October 2026.
Myllertämö Collaboration Grant for member organisations
This year, the Myllertämö Collaboration Grant supports activities of member organisations that focus on sustainability and community building. The Citizens’ Forum Study Centre encourages its member organisations to experiment with and develop training programmes and new working methods that promote expertise in cultural heritage, the arts, culture and creative activities, democracy, peace and human rights, multiculturalism, intercultural dialogue, equality, and climate and environmental literacy.
The Myllertämö Fund is intended for developing learning opportunities as well as learning materials and operating models that support learning within member organisations. An individual development project supporting learning may receive funding of up to €4,000, with a total of no more than €20,000 awarded. Member organisations may also jointly design a development project, in which each participating organisation may receive funding of up to €4,000.
In 2026, the Myllertämö Collaboration Grant was awarded to the Finnish Youth Association to renew the curriculum of its folk dance instructor training programme, and to the Finnish Amateur Theatre Association for the production of the Theatre for Everyone guide.

Cultural Event Partnerships for member organisations and their associations
Member organisations of The Citizens’ Forum Study Centre, as well as their associations and communities, may apply to become Cultural Event Partnership partners. Partnership may consist of financial support and/or content collaboration. In content collaboration, The Citizens’ Forum Study Centre may participate in an event, for example by organising a workshop or an interactive presentation stand.
In 2027, we will partner with one or two cultural events, providing a total of up to €2,000 in support.
The Citizens’ Forum Study Centre seeks partnerships with events that enable us to highlight themes important to us and/or reach our target groups, such as instructors, hobbyists, and active members of associations and clubs.
In 2026, financial Cultural Event Partnerships were established with the National Wind Music Days (Pori Wind Music Association) and the Sirkumpro Festival (Satasirkus Association). In addition, we collaborated on programme content with the Nurtsi Festival (Finnish Youth Circus Association).
The criteria and application instructions for Cultural Event Partnerships can be found in the application form below, which is open from 15 September to 31 October 2026.
