Generations in Interaction – A Guide to Intergenerational Learning

Intergenerational learning is a form of informal learning that deals with cultural and issues of local identity and social cohesion. This guide was created as part of the Erasmus+ project and is intended for use by teachers and intergenerational group leaders in adult education. The guide is suitable both as background material for those interested in the subject and as a practical aid for those who want to improve cooperation between generations at the workplace or in the surrounding environment. At the beginning of the guide, we discuss the theoretical and pedagogical background of the topic, followed by a brief overview of the sociological state of mind in each partner country of the project. The third and most practical section of the guide is “Practical tools and activities”. The section “Theory in action” contains descriptions of intergenerational learning situations.
